TECS automatically sends Notice X004 - Recertification Due and Notice X006 - Food Stamp Notice of Required Verifications to the household 45 days prior to the expiration of the current certification period.

 

Notice X004 informs the household of the following:

1. When the certification period expires.
2. That the county will schedule a face-to-face interview after the recertification application has been submitted.
3. To complete a recertification form and submit it to the county.
4. That the recertification form is mailed to them by the end of the month.
5. The recertification form must be submitted by the 15th of the following month.

 

Notice X006 informs the household of the following:

1. The verification requirements the household must meet as a part of the application process.
2. The county responsibility to assist the household in obtaining required verification provided the household is cooperating with the county.
